Thank you NEFW

New postby Scott M.R. on April 29th, 2012, 7:09 am

I'd like to personally thank Erik, Beth, Chris , Cody, Shady, Full Circle photog and everyone, even Lurch..haha, involved w last nights NEFW Show. There were some changes, partly due to double booking situation, but it went smoothly overall IMO. Koko B. Ware was AWESOME, and the fans were too, for the most part, cept for one disrespectful guy.

Ox Baker probably needs to not be allowed to talk sometimes tho, esp w a live mic  That was not a good deal IMO, but its what it was. I saw a lot of fans having fun, thrilled to meet Koko and for a few short minutes I got to talk w Koko for a brief interview, and was thrilled and honored quite frankly. I hope I have the chance in June w the other talent, esp Jerry Lynn, Tony Atlas and Marty Jannetty.

See everyone in June, and one final thing. Matches like AR Fox and Jay Freddie make a person WANT to see wrestling again, and when Koko did the in ring "mass Bird" dance w the kids after being part of a fun match, it made me smile.

THANKS. and hope to see some of you June 16

I don't like cluttering up my Facebook conversations with wrestletalk, especially since we have a place to discuss such stuff over here so I am going to move our conversation.

Scott - Who was it that didn't make the NEFW show because they were booked somewhere else?

Zack Beaulieu did make it and had his match. Bobby Ocean made it, but due to time constraints at NEFW, his match had to be dropped, which could have been avoided on the other end. Mac never came at all, and he was in the same match w bobby in CT

Maybe you should go to the show if you want to know what happened. Then you could post results for all the people who didn;t go and pay to see the show.

Franchise, I was busy, and also chatting w many people and really don't recall all the matches. Koko and Afa Jr and Big O beat Chris Camaro, Justin Tunis and Kongo in the main event. Postmatch, Koko invited all the kids in ring to do the "Bird" w him. He also had a special raffle for a Koko Clock w money going to Kamala's medical expenses.

Jay Freddie beat AR Fox in an OUTSTANDING Match. Johnny Miyagi lost to Shane Marvel earlier. The House of Glory vs Pro Wrestling Combine eight man was a double countout. There, I got four at least from memory. Theres three more. HELP SOMEONE :)

or maybe you should stop being a douchebag and realize people might be actually interested in the show results because they couldnt make it due to other commitments whether its other shows like CTWE or these things called jobs

i know there is no animosity between these two companies    but seriously there is no way that it shouldnt have been worked out ahead of time where these guys couldnt make and work both shows which were only an hour and a half apart.

New postby So Much Shilling on April 30th, 2012, 9:55 am

This is from memory, so I missed a few names, and the match order might be off. Show drew about 200, maybe 220ish.

1: Evil Nick and Max Pace d. "The Annunaki Prince" Jason Snyper and ???

2: Shane Marvel d. "The Concept" Johnny Miyagi with The Final Issue after Miyagi missed a Top Rope Double Stomp

3: Team House of Glory (names would be helpful here) and Team Pro Wrestling Combine (Scotty Wild, "The Puerto Rican Pitbull" Fernando Ortiz, Isaiah Rex, and "The Female Warrior" Valkyrie) went to a double countout after Ortiz dove on everyone outside of the ring and nobody could return to the ring to answer the 10 count.

4: J. Freddie d. A.R. Fox with a twisting cradle after a match that must be seen to be believed.

5: "Dirt Dawg" Jeremy Leary and a beat-up Shane Marvel (filling in for The Mac) d. The Necromancer and "The A.V." Adrian Vine. Looked like Necromancer hurt himself pretty bad, as he was limping the rest of the night.

6: Kristian Frost d. Zachary Pierre Beaulieu and Johnny Slats

7: Koko B. Ware, The Big O, and Afa Jr. d. NEFW Heavyweight Champion "The Wildman" Kongo, Chris Camaro, and Justin "The Hammer" Tunis

Already booked for 6/16 in Chicopee, MA:

8 Man Tag Team Special Attraction
Team NeFW (Chris Camaro, "The American Sasuke" Mikaze, Former WWE Superstar Colin Delaney, and a partner to be named)
vs
Team Chikara ("The Kentucky Gentleman" Chuck Taylor, "The Littlest Lumberjack" Grizzly Redwood, Dasher Hatfield, and Equinox)

- Former ROH and ECW World Champion Jerry Lynn
- WWE Hall of Famer "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas
- NEFW Heavyweight Champion "The Wildman" Kongo
- "The Modern Day Superhero" Shane Marvel
- "Dirt Dawg" Jeremy Leary
- "The Concept" Johnny Miyagi
- Shady

Might it be possible that Bobby Ocean called Mac and told him of his match being cut and thats why he didn't show?
