And a big fat cartoon planet hello to you. Super No Vacancy's 58th episode went off without a hitch. Ness and Djm are back, whether you like it or love it.
Ness is catching up with CHIKARA, including a show his co-host attended live, while Djm is letting his Japanophilia cross over into the wrestling world. DDT's Sumo Hall show, the joint “All Together Now” charity show put on by Tokyo's “big 3”, and Dragon Gate's Kobe World Show from July. Yes, the puroresu is being represented in high form.
Making our way back stateside, the week in wrestling was condensed into a 2-day package. Raw (which Djm watched but apparently forgot and fell asleep through) and Smackdown (which leads Ness to believe that it might be time to get the riot gear ready) ascendeing to levels of Super and did the Instant Transmission to Tuesday nights.
That led us into Smarky Time, where Djm expresses his thoughts on the future of Smackdown and the great live vs. taped debate. Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice, Ness is sick of kicks. Yes, he's sick of kicks. But Djm calls him out for watcing Ring of Honor, and for watching an Andy Ridge match.
For Superstars, Brodus Clay was in action. He certainly was. Also, we may have a new feud that has run the gamut from the top all the way to the bottom where John Morrison took on R-Truth.
On Otaku Time, Radishman and the Deej completely break form, and instead of looking to the new, the undynamic duo both go old school. Ness has refound his love for Pokemon and he is out to catch them all all over again. And Djm has gone back to watch his first anime true love. Yep. Gundam Wing. Has the mighty Gundam Wing stood the test of time?
All that, and a little bit of singing on this episode of Super No Vacancy.
