And so, here we stand.
A long night of editing, cutting, pasting, clipping, crackling, and scratching brings you Super No Vacancy, Episode 57.
Djm apologizes profusely for the audio quality episode, but we know it’s been a couple of weeks, so we had to remind you all that we haven’t been released or anything. Just the tubes of the Internet not agreeing with us again.
Ness is keeping up with Ring of Honor, while Djm actually watched some Indy stuff, that being SHIMMER 37. (Spoiler Alert: He loved Regeneration-X) Props to the Eagles’ Club for staying hot through the tapings. As much of a hard time as we give fans of women’s wrestling at times, Radishman & The Deej are right there with you…most of the time.
Is it just us or have there been a lot of tag teams sprouting up lately? Some of them actually have names! Regeneration-X has one, the new WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi & Evan, want one, and Truth & Miz may even one want. We give both of our suggestions during Raw. For this episode of Raw, Djm does his best WWE announcer impression and asks lots of questions, while Ness reminds him that it’s ENTERTAINMENT.
For Smarky Time, Ness watched the Nat Geo Documentary “Slammed”, and yes, you see a man named Hunter Johnston, who is the booker for Ring of Honor cosplaying as Delirious. Over on the other side, Djm calls CHIKARA to task on a debate that he saw in the IWC. Is CHIKARA leaning too heavily on guest appearances and “outside stars” and showing a lack of confidence in their regular cast?
NOTE: This was recorded BEFORE the Young Lions’ Cup.
All this and Djm thanks WWE for something he truly appreciated from Superstars. We also love Wade Barrett now.
And probably some anime and video game stuff, too, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Episode of 57 is miraculously on the air!
Djm: “Skype, Comcast, my headphones. I don’t know what it is, but it makes me want to take a long walk off of a short pier.”
