DEDHAM- On Friday night June 29th Northeast Championship Wrestling continues its 2012 wrestling season when we return to the Jacob Jones VFW Post [84 Eastern Avenue] in Dedham, MA for our annual PAYBACK event. Competing in a seasonal format from February through November, NCW presents a unique night of entertainment for fans wherever we go, bringing forth our dynamic storylines, larger than life characters, and incredible athleticism providing a unique one of a kind experience for people of all ages.
After cheating his way to victory last month in West Warwick, RI the new NCW Heavyweight Champion Michael “Buddy” Romano will be forced to defend his newly won Championship when he goes up against his stable mate in Zero Tolerance—the #1 contender David Loomis— June 29th in Dedham. Loomis, the adopted son of Zero Tolerance manager JC Marxxx, won the right for his title match back in April at NCW’s 15 year REUNION setting the stage for this unique encounter at PAYBACK. The odd man out in this situation is the former Heavyweight Champion “The Juice” JT Dunn, screwed out of the title and looking for a measure of revenge against Zero Tolerance.
In a featured tag team match at PAYBACK, Zero Tolerance members “Cocky” Kevin Cordeiro and the NCW New England Champion & Brockton native Mike Paiva team up to take on the fan favorite twosome of Rob “the Giant” Araujo and the 2011 Rookie of the Year Lumberjake! Both Jake and Araujo have been entangled in a war with “The Original Showoff” and his protégé for months now, with both competitors eyeing the coveted New England Championship.
Also June 29th the NCW Tag Team Champions the Unequaled Destroyers (“The Unequaled One” Todd Sople & “The Granite State Destroyer” Gunar Rowe) defend their Tag Team Titles against Ruination SLAM (“The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello & Norwood’s “Dynamic” Jon Thornhill). Plus in action “The RIOT” Kellan Thomas, Steve “The Turtle” Weiner, “Dynamite” Doug Summers, Scotty Vegas, “The Maniacal” Jack Krueger, and many more!
The Jacob Jones VFW Post is located at 84 Eastern Avenue in Dedham, MA, right off Rt. 1 and behind the Tahiti Restaurant. Doors open at 7:30 with an 8pm scheduled bell time. Adult tickets are $10 at the door, with kids twelve and under only $5! This is an all-ages, family friendly event.
