The NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship is on the line as champion Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana battles former champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce in the second match in a “Best of Seven” series. Each match has a stipulation, and this match will be a Boston Street Fight! More matches will be announced in the weeks to come, but don’t miss this chance to witness history.

I like how the NWA is taking the Cabana-Pearce feud all around the country. It adds vitality and legitimacy to the the World Title.

Twenty bucks is a reasonable too. I may make my way down to Bridgewater for this. It depends on the undercard.

I don't think there's anything that'll keep me from making this show. I haven't been making as many shows as I'd like recently, especially in the last 2 months. I missed the last NECW show in Blackstone, that bothered me. I am working 7 nights/9 shifts a week at the moment... come hell or high water though, I want to be in Bridgewater on this night.

Had Pearce kept the title, the match I most wanted to see was Locke against Pearce. This match has me quite intrigued though, I am looking forward to it. They have not capitalized on Locke in any way at all since his losing the NECW title though, it's a shame. I thought that was one of his better matches too, his loss to Fish. He's as credible a "bad ass" as there is in New England, the fans turned him face in NECW, can't get enough of him, and he's been lingering around the mid card when he really should be involved in something more meaningful, since his losing the title. It's been a lost opportunity. They may strike soon with something, I expect them to, but they've sure waited long enough. Too long I would argue, definitely too long.

NWA World Hvt. champion Colt Cabana beat Adam Pearce in the first match of their Best-of-Seven series Sunday afternoon at the latest "Championship Wrestling from Hollywood" TV tapings in Glendale, Calif. The first bout was a First Blood match. The second bout is a Boston Street Fight scheduled for Saturday, June 8 in Bridgewater, Mass.

If you are a member though, and this used to bother me, so I know what you mean. I bookmarked PWTorch.com and would always get a pop up before even having a chance to log in, I found that frustrating. Now I bookmark PWTorch.com/members and I don't get that initial ad before logging in, my web browser prompts me to input my log in info before the site even comes up. I much prefer that.

id almost forgotten about Locke but yeah i remember feeling the same way about him at the last necw event i attended back in january. he is a talented guy,i wish he was on more of the stuff i see in person.

Pearce has really brought it in everything he's done of late, leading up to this series. I really liked the challenge promo and the subsequent interview/promo following their 1st first match was quite good too (both in this thread). I have a feeling their match won't disappoint either, IMO anyway. They each seem very into this series from what I've seen.
