On Saturday night March 13th Northeast Championship Wrestling presents the first event of the 2010 Season when we return to Killingly High School for Silence the Violence IX, a benefit for Project Graduation.
Project Graduation is a class fundraiser, with partial proceeds of this event going towards the Seniors as they prepare for Prom, Senior Trip, and other essentials during their final year. General Admission for this event is only $10, with kids ten and under ALWAYS $5. Killingly High students with their student I.D. will also receive a discount price of $5. Doors will be opening at 7pm, with a 7:30pm bell time! For more information and directions, head over to http://www.TheNCWOnline.com for details.
Ever since WrestleFest V, the NCW Heavyweight Champion David Marxxx-Loomis has had more then he can handle following the incident between him and the #1 Contender Richard Pacifico. With the challenger still not being medically cleared to compete, Loomis has been taunting the injured Pacifico, even going so far as to file a restraining order against him and force Richard out of his own place of work. Despite everything, this hasn’t stopped Loomis from issuing an open challenge in Killingly, offering to put his NCW Title on the line against anyone up for the task. In a shocking development the one to answer the challenge was none other than David’s younger brother Eddie Loomis, the High School amateur who’s never wrestled a professional match. Adopted father and manager JC Marxxx nearly fell out of his seat laughing when he learned that the youngest Loomis wanted the Match, but Marxxx has accepted the challenge feeling it would be another great opportunity to embarrass the Loomis family. Eddie has been training hard in preparation for his big opportunity, and will be looking to make a huge impact in front of his friends and family on March 13th.
When NCW returns for the 2010 Season it will be an opportunity of a lifetime for “The Portuguese Sensation” Ruy Batello when he takes on his old rival “The Showoff” Mike Paiva for the NCW New England Championship, getting the chance to become NCW’s first ever Triple Crown Winner. The history between Paiva and Batello has been well documented, and this next chapter in their storied rivalry will no doubt be another classic contest.
Killingly’s own boys from Schillar Park make their return home on March 13th, as the Denile’s and Jack Krueger compete in 8 Man Tag Team action for the first time since uniting last May. Though they had a banner year last Season, The Posse hit a dangerous roadblock in the form of The BerZerker and Cenobite—Heaven’s Fury. The two enigmas coming together at the end of the Season last December has created an unprecedented dynamic, but at Silence the Violence the foursome will be battling an all star cast of opponents when they take on former NCW Heavyweight Champions Dean “The Beast” Livsley, “Dynamite” Doug Summers, Tim Kilgore, & the always energetic Steve “The Turtle” Weiner.
It will be the final encounter at Silence the Violence when Generation SLAM (“The Average Guy” Timothy Pittman & “Dynamic” Jon Thornhill) take on The Heatseekers (“Revolution” Chris Venom & “The Egomaniac” Jonny Idol) with the winners becoming the undisputed NCW Tag Team Champions once and for all. After things broke down last Season, this match will definitively bring a close to their competitive feud following all the shenanigans, unauthorized referees, suspensions et al.
Looking to establish themselves as top contenders in NCW, Rob “The Giant” takes on “The Obsession” Ray Diamond in singles action in Killingly. The Giant had a tough year last Season, dealing with the likes of William King and Mike Paiva, while Diamond made a return to the promotion with a brand new, cocky attitude. Despite coming up short at WrestleFest, both guys look for a victory at Silence the Violence to put them right into Title contention during the 2010 year.
PLUS it will be the first official appearance of Heaven’s Fury, the powerhouse team of “The Knight Angel” BerZerker and Cenobite, as well as Triplelicious, “The Highlight” JT Dunn, Buddy Romano & MORE!
